Here are the latest batch of games which took place at the club on Thursday 6th November 2003.

Game: American Civil War in 6mm
Rules: Volley and Bayonet

Something a bit different this week, a return to Volley and Bayonet - this time, the Battle of Champions Hill (or Bakers Creek) from the VnB ACW Sourcebook, though we used Greg Novaks revised map. The game was played at 2/3 scale, though, instead of calculating revised range data, we simply used measuring sticks marked at 2/3 scale - you can see it in the background of the photograph below.

This was a very good game, where sereiously outnumbered Confederate forces attempted to hold out against the might of Grant's Army of the Tennessee.

It all went down to the wire, and though a brave effort was made, the last confederate division suffered a morale collapse one turn from the end.
